Effective: 2026
LokalChain is built around open discussion, shared knowledge, and community participation. These guidelines exist to protect constructive conversation while allowing members to express different opinions, challenge ideas, and contribute freely.
By participating in LokalChain, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Respect Other Members
Disagreement is welcome. Personal attacks are not.
Members may challenge ideas, opinions, technologies, projects, companies, or public claims, but harassment, targeted abuse, intimidation, threats, bullying, or deliberate attempts to humiliate another member are prohibited.
Context may be considered when moderators evaluate informal language or profanity, but language used primarily to attack or harass another person may be removed.
2. Zero Tolerance for Hate and Threats
LokalChain does not permit content that promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, or dehumanization against people or groups based on protected characteristics.
Credible threats, encouragement of violence, targeted harassment, or attempts to organize such behavior may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.
3. No Spam or Platform Manipulation
Do not use LokalChain to distribute spam or artificially manipulate engagement.
This includes repetitive posts, mass messaging, automated spam, fake engagement, coordinated voting manipulation, misleading links, excessive self-promotion, or creating accounts primarily to manipulate discussions.
Legitimate participation and relevant recommendations are welcome.
4. Token and Project Promotion
LokalChain is a knowledge and discussion platform, not a token promotion board.
Direct promotional posts for cryptocurrencies, tokens, memecoins, NFT projects, presales, ICOs, IDOs, fundraising campaigns, or similar projects are prohibited. This includes promotional content intended primarily to attract investors, buyers, community members, or liquidity.
However, users may recommend or discuss a project naturally when it is relevant to an existing discussion, provided that the contribution is informative rather than promotional.
Users should disclose material relationships or conflicts of interest when recommending a project they are connected to.
5. Financial and Crypto Discussions
Members may discuss Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, markets and financial developments, trading and technical analysis, investment ideas and personal opinions, projects and technologies, and risks and opportunities.
However, fraudulent claims, guaranteed-profit promises, deceptive investment schemes, pump-and-dump coordination, market manipulation, phishing, impersonation, and scams are prohibited.
Opinions shared by community members should not automatically be considered financial or investment advice.
6. Advertising and Self-Promotion
Unsolicited or excessive advertising is prohibited.
Relevant products, services, websites, businesses, or personal projects may be mentioned when they genuinely contribute to a discussion. Communities may establish additional rules governing self-promotion.
Affiliate or referral links may be restricted or removed when they exist primarily for commercial gain rather than informational value.
7. Artificial Intelligence Content
LokalChain welcomes the responsible use of AI. There is no general prohibition against AI-generated or AI-assisted content. Members may use AI for research assistance, writing, translation, coding, analysis, summaries, or other legitimate purposes.
However, AI must not be used to flood communities with low-quality content, automate spam, impersonate another person, manufacture fake evidence, conduct scams or manipulation, or circumvent moderation systems.
AI-assisted content is judged by the same quality and safety standards as any other content.
8. Misinformation and Sources
Members should make reasonable efforts to distinguish facts from opinions. For significant factual claims, moderators may request sources or supporting evidence.
Content that is disputed or potentially misleading may receive additional context, warnings, or moderation labels. Content deliberately designed to deceive users or cause serious harm may be removed.
Being incorrect does not automatically constitute a violation. Deliberate deception and harmful manipulation are treated differently from honest mistakes or disagreement.
9. Political Discussion
Political discussion is permitted when relevant and conducted constructively. Political disagreement alone is not grounds for moderation.
Harassment, hate speech, threats, coordinated manipulation, spam, or other violations remain prohibited regardless of political viewpoint. Individual communities may establish additional topic-specific rules.
10. Adult and Explicit Content
Pornographic and explicitly sexual content is not permitted on LokalChain. Content may also be restricted when it is excessively graphic, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate for the platform.
11. Privacy and Personal Information
Do not publish another person's sensitive private information without authorization. This includes private contact information, account credentials, financial information, private communications where disclosure would violate privacy, or other information that could expose someone to harm.
Attempts to doxx, threaten, blackmail, or expose users are prohibited.
12. Fraud, Phishing and Impersonation
Users may not impersonate another individual, company, project, moderator, or LokalChain representative in a deceptive manner.
Phishing links, wallet-draining schemes, fraudulent giveaways, fake support accounts, malicious files, credential theft, and similar activities may result in immediate permanent removal.
13. Community-Specific Rules
Individual LokalChain communities may establish additional rules appropriate to their subject matter. Community-specific rules cannot override the platform-wide Community Guidelines.
Community moderators may enforce local rules, while LokalChain's platform moderation team retains final authority over platform-wide enforcement.
14. Moderation and Enforcement
Moderation decisions may depend on severity, context, intent, previous violations, and potential harm.
Possible actions include: Content Removal → Warning → Account Restriction → Temporary Suspension → Permanent Ban. These steps do not have to occur in this exact order.
For serious violations — including credible threats, fraud, phishing, severe harassment, coordinated manipulation, or attempts to compromise the platform — LokalChain may immediately suspend or permanently remove an account.
15. Appeals
Members may appeal eligible moderation decisions. Appeals may be reviewed by a moderator or administrator who evaluates the original decision, available context, and relevant platform rules.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a moderation decision will be reversed.
16. Moderator Responsibilities
Moderators are expected to enforce rules fairly and in good faith. Moderator privileges must not be used to suppress legitimate disagreement, promote personal interests, manipulate communities, or retaliate against users.
LokalChain administrators may review moderator actions and may modify or reverse decisions when necessary.
17. Help Us Protect the Community
Members are encouraged to report content that appears to violate these guidelines rather than escalating conflicts themselves. Reports should be made in good faith. Repeated abuse of the reporting system may itself result in restrictions.
Our Principle
Challenge ideas. Respect people. Share knowledge.
LokalChain exists to connect communities and knowledge — not to make everyone agree. Different perspectives are welcome. Manipulation, harassment, fraud, and abuse are not.
LokalChain — Local Communities. Global Knowledge.
